What is a Professional Organizer?
A professional organizer provides information, personal assistance and products to help you organize all aspects of your personal and business lives. What's all this going to cost ? Before thinking about fees, ask yourself how much you may already be paying for your
disorganized environment. According to statistics compiled by The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO)
, the average American spends about 30 minutes a day just looking for misplaced items. How much is your time worth?
Over a year, how much would all that time be worth to you? That's fine, but how much is this going to cost? As a new organizer, my fees are at the low end of the
spectrum: $50.00 per hour. Our initial phone consultation is free, and no-obligation. There's a four-hour minimun for on-site visits, which is enough time to make a difference, but not enough to exhaust us
. Why don't I just use your free tips? Go right ahead! But most people find that they'll benefit from having a professional organizer to really make a difference. A professional can make suggestions,
steer you away from blind alleys, provide encouragement when it just looks too overwhelming, and provide encouragement and an unbiased viewpoint. Often people just need the extra push of actually scheduling that
appointment to overcome procrastination. My home or office is too messy -- I'm embarrassed! Another benefit of a using a professional organizer is that we've seen it all! We provide complete
confidentiality and non-judgmental assistance. With our help, you won't have to be embarrassed, you'll WANT to have friends or business associates visit your home or office. How long will it take to get me organized? A typical appointment lasts 4 to 6 hours. The total number of hours
required for each project will vary, depending on several factors: how much stuff you have, how disorganized it's become, how dedicated you are to getting it organized, etc. What will happen to things you want me to get rid of ? I'll help you give these things a new life my finding them a worthy new home. Options include donations to local charities, consignment to resale shops, selling items online, or

What is a typical organizing session like? There is no "typical"
session, since services are tailored to each client's specific needs. However, the general approach is similar: After a free telephone consultation to get a feel for each other, I'll visit the site at your convenience
and begin to work with you to analyze the situation and develop a game plan. I'll be able to estimate the time needed by then. Then we can start sorting, purging, and organizing. You can participate as
much as you feel like doing. Some jobs will require ongoing care; most clients will benefit from scheduled, or occasional, checkups. So who are you, and what makes you think you can help me?
